The Sub-Fund's investment objective is to produce consistent absolute returns with low volatility and risk in all market conditions, regardless of the direction of interest rates or default rates. The Sub-Fund seeks to invest in a diversified range of long, short, relative value and paired opportunities. Some securities may be used to hedge or augment the portfolio's existing long or short exposure. Short positions are exclusively entered into through the use of financial derivative instruments. The Sub-Fund will mainly be exposed to debt securities (including money market instruments) of any type, issued or guaranteed by European issuers (corporate entities or European countries and their public authorities).
