ASTER is the native governance and utility token of the Aster protocol, a decentralised platform combining perpetual contracts, spot trading, and yield mechanisms. The token is central to protocol governance, allowing holders to vote on proposals such as upgrades, emissions, and treasury use. ASTER is also distributed as an incentive to traders, liquidity providers, and community participants through point-based campaigns and airdrops.
