The objective of this Sub-Fund is to track the performance of Bloomberg MSCI USD Corporate Paris Aligned Green Tilted Index (the 'Index'), and to minimize the tracking error between the net asset value of the Sub Fund and the performance of the Index. The Bloomberg MSCI USD Corporate Paris Aligned Green Tilted Index is constructed from the Bloomberg US Corporate Index (the 'Parent Index') and intends to be representative of the USD-denominated investment grade corporate bond market while meeting and exceeding the minimum standards of the EU Paris Aligned Benchmarks (EU PABs) under Regulation (EU) 2019/2089 amending Regulation (EU) 2016/1011. The law proposes the definitions of minimum standards for the methodology of any 'EU Paris Aligned' benchmark indices that would be aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement. The Index sets an initial 50% decarbonization of absolute Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and carbon intensity relative to the standard Bloomberg US Corporate Index, followed by an annual 10% decarbonization trajectory of both measures, and uses an optimization approach that aims to minimize the active total risk with respect to the Parent Index under constraints.
